[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 400px; height: 600px; border-left: 10px solid #c0b0a1;] Welcome to your site young blood OCTAVIUS ALASTAIR PEPPER [/style] [style=font-family:times; font-size:10; letter-spacing: 6px; line-height: 2px color:#c0b0a1; text-transform:uppercase; font-style: italic; ] you're a wizard, harry nicknames: Tivvy date of birth: 18th March 1959 age: 36 gender: Male sexual orientation: straight occupation: Gringotts (specifically deals with account balancing, etc.) bloodstatus: Half-blood financial status: stable enough year: adult house: former Ravenclaw wand: 11 inches, made from cherry wood with a Phoenix feather core, and it happens to be rather swishy. allegiance: neutral canon: yes Tell Us a little about how you look height: 5'10" weight: 165 pounds hair: dark brown, on the shorter side. eyes: grayish green distinguishing features: His eyes are flecked with tel different colors: gray and green. Also, he wears his hair very specifically at times. Somewhat pushed back in the front, but in an attempt at a carefree style. intended face claim: Peter Facinelli overall: Octavius is rather average looking as far as his physical appearance goes. He isn't obnoxiously tall, so standing at only 5'10" he does not stand out in a crowd. As for weight that appears average as well. He isn't overly muscular, yet not skin and bones either. He seems to have the perfect blend of being lean yet muscular. He had always been very comfortable with his appearance, and never obsessed over working out or losing weight. Octavius is more concerned with living a healthy lifestyle so he can work insane hours at work in order to both support himself, and put away a fair bit in a savings account--just in case. His eyes are his most distinguishable feature. They're an intriguing blend of green and gray; the different flecks of color dispersed throughout appear differently depending on the amount of light hitting them, and also his mood. If he is angry the green is more likely to flare up, and if he is content they appear more gray. He isn't sure why they work this way, but they always have ever since he could remember. It was something his sister often teased him about. Fashion isn't much of a concern for Octavius. He likes to dress nice for work, but at home? Oh no, at home He prefers to be comfortable. Jeans and soft cotton shirts are a staple for him on his rare days off of work. He has one pair of sneakers that are his to to pair of shoes; he's had them for years and they're broken in perfectly--can't buy shoes like that brand new. It only comes from wearing them day after day. There is no comparison between those beloved sneakers to his stuff work shoes. Everything about his work attire is stuff. Stiffly ironed button up shirt. Stiff leather shoes. Stiff suit pants and blazer. Stiff, stiff, stiff. Octavius enjoys doing his job, but wishes there was a way it could become less restrictive and more relaxed--wardrobe included. and then a little about yourself likes: 1. Family 2. Reading/Books 3. He isn't very outspoken, and doesn't come across as bold or outgoing. He's just...himself. He has never felt the need to stand out among a crowd. He has always just wanted to be himself, as boring as that may be. Being sorted into Ravenclaw was a perfect choice for him. He was constantly striving to gobble up any and all new information he could get his hands on during school, and that had carried over into his adulthood. He still enjoys reading and learning about new things. He has always been somewhat of a loner, preferring his books over social interactions. Had it not been for his siblings, he probably wouldn't have had any social contact during his school years. He was a different person when he was around them, Iasa especially. It was like he came alive. He was animated, warm, and talkative around her--a completely different person than he was around his peers. He wasn't as close to his other siblings, and had no clue why he and Iasa had grown so close over the years. She was somewhat of a best friend for him, and would often help him come out of his shell. Without her, he had recoiled back into his hermit ways. He rarely left his house, except to go to work, or shops. He kept his interactions with his co-workers at a minimum and, working around goblins all day, that was an easy task to accomplish. He amassed a vast collection of books, and they became his friends. He almost resented what he had become in the absence of his beloved sister. He didn't want to be an outcast any longer. He wanted to find someone to settle down with and have a family of his own. He didn't want to be alone forever, but his antisocial personality made that his only path in life. Being alone so often, Octavius developed the habit of talking to himself. Not in a crazy way, in more of a narrative way. Such as, 'You need to water the plants when you get home,' or 'Well why didn't I think of that.' He is also somewhat OCD. He feels the need to keep his house spotless. Everything has a place and it needs to stay in that place. When he would run out of books, Octavius would take to cleaning, which was probably how this habit had originally formed. history your family and such parents: Lawrence Pepper [deceased], Thelia Crockett-Pepper [deceased] siblings: Iasa Pepper [sister/deceased (16 year old anachronism now)], Charity Pepper [sister/39], Joan [sister/35] pets: A solid gray cat named Martin. born: Berwick-Upon-Tweed overall history: Octavius was born into somewhat of a large family, which only continued to grow. He had two parents and three siblings, quite a lot for one little house to contain. His parents loved and spoiled all of their children, though he and his sisters had always suspected that Iasa was their favorite. She was, of course, oblivious to their favor, which only served to irritate him even more. That is, until he and Iasa started becoming close. Yes, they fought as all siblings did, but they were still friends, still much closer than most siblings he came in contact with. His father worked for the Ministry and his mother was always out in the Greenhouses. Octavius enjoyed learning about both his parents occupations as a child, but tended to have more interest in his father's ministry work. He enjoyed watching his mother work with her plants, but was not a fan of getting covered in dirt. As he got older, Octavius became interested in books and reading, and could almost always be found with his nose stuck in a book. He knew nearly all of his year one spells before he even received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Oh what a happy day that had been. He would miss his family, but this great new adventure intrigued him. He was immediately sorted into Ravenclaw, no questions asked. It was the perfect house for him. He had many things in common with his fellow housemates. When he was around 21 everything changed. His sister Iasa was killed, and his life was forever changed. He had been closest to her out of all of his family members, and losing her had taken a toll on him. He crawled back into his shell, and became very antisocial. He preferred the company of his books, and liked being alone. He would often sit and mourn the death of his sister, as unhealthy as it was. When he lost his parents to the war, he was already numb to the pain of loss. He buried himself in his books and his work and tried to move on with his life. He got a job at Gringotts as somewhat of an account balancer. He kept strict records which the goblins liked, and he never ever made any mistakes. Best of all? He got to work alone, undisturbed by any humans or goblins. His gray cat Martin became his only companion, greeting him each day when he made it home from work. Life continued in this same boring fashion for years, until one day everything changed. The Ministry called on him, saying they had an urgent matter of the upmost importance to discuss with him. When he arrived, he couldn't believe what he was hearing, or seeing. Iasa stood before him, or someone who was a spitting image of her. She couldn't have been more than sixteen or seventeen years of age. He denied that this girl before them was his sister, informing them that his sister had been dead since he was twenty-one. The situation was explained over and over, yet still he didn't understand. Finally, they gave up trying. They told him that he was to be somewhat of a keeper for her, making sure she didn't get into any trouble, and that news of this disaster didn't break among those not directly affected by it. Octavius agreed to take her into his care, though he still did not fully believe that this girl before him was his beloved deceased sister. He struggled with what was going on in his life; everything had been so predictable, but now? Octavius had no idea where his life was going, or why this was all happening to him. now for the person behind the character alias: Emma age: 23 experience: tons where'd you find us?: Relashio ad anything to add?: Legolas is staring at me. lastly the roleplay sample See the roleplay sample on Fleur's all, or peek at the Bill/Fleur thread for more examples (: Octavius sighed as he entered his house after a long day of work. He tossed his bag next to the door, hanging his coat up neatly on the coat rack. He yawned as he flicked his wand, the lights clicking on, the familiar warm glow of his home illuminating him. His gray cat Martin meowed contentedly from his position on the center couch cushion, his favorite spot to lounge. Everything was as it should be. His eyes involuntarily darted towards the hallway, resting on a particular door. Cautiously, he made his way towards it, hesitating as his hand closed around the knob. Opening this door could prove that it was all just a dream--a sick and twisted dream. It could prove that none of it had ever happened, that she was still dead and that he was just even more screwed up for imagining this whole situation in the first place. He sighed as he watched her chest rise and fall, turning a bit in her sleep while she tried to get comfortable. He blinked before looking once more, shaking his head as he pulled the door quietly to. He resumed his usual seat next to Martin, absentmindedly rubbing between his ears. His sister Iasa was asleep in the next room. His dead sister was asleep in his guest room. His dead, now sixteen years old again, sister was asleep two doors away from him. He sighed heavily, using his wand to summon a large glass of Firewhiskey. He wasn't typically much of a drinker, but his current situation called for it. He couldn't wrap his mind around what was happening to him, or why.
